Chargeback Hub

Chargeback drained your margin? Place it on Owedly.

For merchants hit by unjustified or friendly-fraud chargebacks. List the loss as a collection account — fight it with evidence or settle — without fake win-rate promises or cardholder doxxing.

Protect · Coming · v2

Stop the next friendly fraud before auth

Pre-transaction BIN / network risk signals and alert enrollment (Ethoca, Verifi CDRN/RDR class) are planned for v2. Prefer tokens and BIN+last4 — never paste full PAN or SSN on this site. No live Protect API — no invented Ethoca keys.

Trust & compliance

  • PCI posture: processor vault holds PAN; Owedly splash never asks for card numbers or SSN.
  • Lawyer gate on dispute letters and channel templates before production send.
  • One consumption plan for AI, evidence tools, and connected services: provider usage cost × the current multiplier.
  • Connected alert services, when available, disclose their usage costs before activation.

FAQ

What is an unjustified or friendly-fraud chargeback?
When a cardholder disputes a charge you believe was legitimate — goods shipped, services delivered, or authorization clear. “Unjustified” is your claim; Owedly does not adjudicate every dispute.
Is listing a chargeback loss the same as placing debt?
Yes in the product model: entries are collection accounts. The loss becomes a placement. Exits are formal dispute (representment) or pay/settle — Owedly software tools use consumption pricing, with no Owedly recovery commission.
Do you guarantee win rates?
No. We do not publish or promise chargeback win rates. Outcomes depend on evidence, network rules, and issuer decisions.
Will you skip-trace or doxx the cardholder?
No. Evidence is transaction and fulfillment artifacts — not home/work people-search products.
What about Protect / Ethoca / Verifi?
Pre-transaction risk lookup and alert enrollment (Ethoca, CDRN, RDR class) are on the roadmap. See /chargebacks/protect — Coming · v2, no live API yet.

Owedly is not a card network, acquirer, or law firm. We do not guarantee representment outcomes. “Unjustified” reflects the merchant’s assertion. Not legal advice.
