What is Owedly?
OWEDLY™ is account resolution software: one place for people and businesses to work things out. Creditors, debt buyers, collection agencies and independent collectors work accounts together on Owedly, with AI agents keeping the work, the messages and the next steps in one place. People who got a call or a letter about a debt have their own door, called Owedly Resolve.
Owedly is a software and staffing platform. Owedly does not buy or own debts; collection work is performed by the creditor, agency, or a licensed collector they authorize through Owedly. Owedly does not give legal advice or promise outcomes.
The idea fits in four words: Less interruption. More resolution. People get control over how businesses reach them, and businesses get a respectful path to resolution.
One product, several doors
Owedly is one product with several entrances, matched to your role. See them all on the portals page.
Got a call or letter? Owedly Resolve
Owedly Resolve is a private space to work things out with the business on the other side. You can understand the next step, draft a request for account documents, and save how you want to be contacted. Account details stay private until you confirm them.
Signing up does not send a notice or stop calls by itself. A draft stays a draft until you review it.
The creditor or agency sets any settlement terms. Owedly's AI only relays and explains offers they have already approved for your account, word for word. It never proposes, negotiates, or changes amounts, and Owedly doesn't charge consumers to use Resolve. Nothing is accepted or paid without your explicit action.
Owed money? Start a file
People and small businesses who are owed money can start a file, place accounts and track placements.
Creditors, agencies and debt buyers
Business desks share one workspace, with access set by business type:
- Original creditors place portfolios with batch intake, reporting, policy templates and mini-Miranda-aware outreach.
- Collection agencies run inventory, work queues, payments and letters, and can invite clients with a unique invite link.
- Debt buyers hold, research and work purchased paper using purchase and hold metadata and inventory tools.
Signed-in desks get Agency in a Box, a floor of AI agents: Desk Lead, Closer, Compliance, Skip, Disputes and QA. The agents that fit each desk turn on by default. Outbound Agency Floor actions pass a compliance gate first.
Collectors: iCollect
Independent collectors can join iCollect, Owedly's freelance 1099 collector network. Join iCollect now; live calls and texts open to approved collectors as accounts go live. When they open, collectors can take them in a browser or in the Owedly Android app. To get started, go to Collect.
Merchants: Chargeback Hub
Merchants hit by unjustified or friendly-fraud chargebacks can list the loss in the Chargeback Hub as a collection account, with the amount, network, reason code and evidence. Evidence stays vaulted, and response templates are lawyer-gated. The merchant chooses the exit: a formal dispute (representment), or pay and settle. Results depend on evidence, network rules and issuer decisions, so Owedly does not publish win rates.
Bring your own AI assistant
Businesses and consumers can connect an AI assistant such as Muse, ChatGPT, Grok or another MCP-compatible client. You choose what the assistant can access, and Desk and Resolve have separate permissions. The assistant reads only what you authorize and saves drafts for your review. It cannot send collection messages, make payments or accept settlements, and you can revoke its access from your account. Builders can find endpoints, scopes and OAuth details in the developer guide. Owedly is not endorsed by these assistant providers.
How pricing works
Owedly has one consumption plan. New business workspaces start with free welcome credits, and no card is required. AI and connected services draw from one shared credit balance at the provider's usage cost times the current multiplier. You buy more only when you choose to: no automatic recharge, no monthly subscription and no Owedly recovery commission. Fees agreed separately with an agency or payment provider are separate. Pricing always shows the current rate.
What Owedly does not do
- Owedly does not buy or own debts and is not a law firm, card network or acquirer.
- Owedly never publishes or promises recovery rates, chargeback win rates or guaranteed outcomes. Results depend on facts, evidence, networks and law.
- Owedly does not turn out-of-statute accounts into a lawsuit product.
- Nothing on Owedly is legal advice.
